JOB SUMMARY:

This job requires strong experience in long-term planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, primarily supporting key areas of the business. The job holder collaborates with key members of Hoan My leadership team to develop financial strategies and drive analytics to enable business decision-making.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Management

  • Responsible for the preparation of the annual board budget package.
  • Responsible for the development, production, maintenance, and improvement of existing financial and productivity reports, ad hoc reports, variance analyses, new business plans, cost accounting systems, and benchmarking systems.
  • Standardize reporting parameters as per leading practices for tracking the performance of treasury activities such as cash-flow consolidation (direct & indirect) for actual year-to-date and rolling forecasts.
  • Report Debts (Internal, External, Scheduled installment) and plan for the current and forecasted period.
  • Covenants monitoring report of all historical financials and forecasted for the next reporting date.
  • Presentation for Capital Management in every quarterly report.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Establish and implement comprehensive treasury policies & procedures including Treasury governance framework, cash forecasting, investment, and risk management (based on leading best practices).
  • Treasury governance, policies and procedures of Bank account structure; forex policy/strategy, cash collections; payment approvals; cash account policies; dividends and distributions.
  • Regular reporting to the CEO / CFO on Treasury activities.

Capital Management

  1. Cash management:
  • Monitor the cash flow planning process, and ensure the availability of funds across the group.
  • Oversee and implement financial banking services, including cash management and other banking services, to make sure safety, solvency, and effectiveness of cash-flow movements across the group.
  • Monitor working capital, and implement working capital policies to make sure the effectiveness of working capital across, especially at newly-joined entities.

2. Debt management:

  • Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances with financial institutions and business partners for the availability of credit lines to sustain the company’s business operation and growth.
  • Oversee all external outstanding debts with external lenders, and improve the group credit score to gain the best interest offerings of funding from both local and/or international lenders.
  • Oversee and execute internal funding cash-flows or internal loans to support the entity’s solvency purpose and effective mobilization of free cash-flows in regard to compliance with law and tax risk.
  • Implement the refinancing plan for newly-joined entities with lower interest rates by applying group credit scoring.
  • Ad Hoc Investment advisory.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Experience and Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA or ACCA is preferred).
  • Working experience in Medical Corporation or Hospital/Clinic is a must.
  • 8+ years of financial management experience in a multinational company.
  • Full P&L management with forecasting and budgeting
  • Experience in Treasury (reporting to CFO or CEO) for a $100m plus revenue business in Vietnam, managing multiple currencies; either a local company or a division of an MNC is a plus
  • World-class in key areas supporting the business based on leading best practices (treasury policy, excess cash investments, and liquidity management).
  • Strong banking relationships with local and international banks.
