Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Ensure continuous and safe operation of technical equipment and facilities within the hospital. Perform routine maintenance, repair tasks, inspection, and support infrastructure projects to maintain a reliable and efficient facility environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment & Facility Maintenance
Perform regular maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, as scheduled.
Diagnose malfunctions quickly; carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime.
Assist with installation and troubleshooting of new equipment or facility upgrades.
Monitor operating conditions during both live and non-operational periods to ensure safety and performance.
Inspection & Compliance
Conduct periodic system checks (power, lighting, emergency power, fire‑safety, backup systems).
Report equipment status, maintenance work, and remaining service life to supervisors.
Recordkeeping & Documentation
Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service records, and asset tracking files.
Submit completion reports and adhere to department standards.
Safety & Standards
Follow safety regulations strictly when conducting maintenance tasks.
Immediately report safety hazards, malfunctioning equipment, or facility issues.
Collaboration & Support
Coordinate with department leads and external vendors as needed.
Support facility-related events and emergency repair requests.
Participate in training and daily operations as assigned.
Job Required Skills And Qualifications
Education & Experience
Vocational/Associate degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.
At least 1 year of hands-on maintenance experience in mechanical and electrical systems in industrial or healthcare environments.
Skills & Competencies
Technical skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems maintenance.
Ability to interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) for documentation.
Strong problem-solving, time-management, and adaptation to dynamic work demands.
