JOB SUMMARY:

As an Infrastructure Hosting Lead  at Hoan My, you will be a key member of the IT team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the cloud infrastructure that supports our business operations. You will work closely with other members of the IT team to ensure that our cloud infrastructure is resilient, secure, and capable of supporting our growing business needs.

As an Infrastructure Hosting Lead, you will:

• Develop and manage the cloud infrastructure for Hoan My, including cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Local Viet Nam Cloud.
• Design and implement network components such as subnets, VPNs, and firewalls to ensure the security and availability of our Cloud resources.
• Monitor the performance and capacity of our cloud infrastructure and develop proactive measures to address issues before they impact system availability.
• Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures to ensure the recoverability of critical cloud resources.
• Lead projects to implement new cloud-based solutions, including designing, testing, and implementing secure infrastructure in close collaboration with our cybersecurity team.
• Conduct audits, evaluations, and assessments of our cloud infrastructure, providing recommendations for improvements to ensure that our systems are secure and compliant.
• Contribute to documentation updates, SOP, and development of Group shared services related to cloud infrastructure.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administration of VPC Infrastructure

• Design, deploy, and manage VPC infrastructure on cloud platforms such as Local Viet Nam Cloud, AWS, or Azure
• Configure and maintain network components such as subnets, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Implement security policies and controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of VPC resources.

Expected results:

• Ensure that VPC resources have at least 99.99% uptime.
• Manage VPC resources such as instances, security groups, and routing tables in an efficient and organized manner.
• Ensure that VPC resources are secure and compliant with relevant regulations and industry best practices.

 How to measure:

• Monitor uptime and report on uptime metrics on a weekly or monthly basis.
• Develop a system to track the allocation and utilization of VPC resources and provide reports on usage and cost optimization.
• Conduct regular security audits to identify and remediate potential security risks.

Monitoring System:

• Monitor cloud infrastructure components and services to ensure performance, availability, and capacity.
• Configure and maintain monitoring tools such as PRTG, Nagios
• Develop and implement proactive measures to identify and resolve issues before they impact system availability.

Expected results:

• Monitor cloud infrastructure components and services to ensure performance, availability, and capacity.

• Percentage of uptime for cloud infrastructure components and services.

Manage Backup and Restore:

• Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures for critical VPC resources based on Veeam solution.
• Test and validate backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and recoverability.
• Troubleshoot backup and recovery issues and perform root cause analysis.

Expected results:

• Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures for critical VPC resources based on Veeam solution.
• Test and validate backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and recoverability.

• Backup coverage and success rate of critical VPC resources.
• Frequency and pass rate of backup and recovery tests.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and networking concepts
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Local Viet Nam Cloud
• Proficiency in configuring and managing network components such as subnets, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as PRTG, Nagios
• Experience with backup and recovery procedures and tools such as Veeam, EMC Networker…

Preferred Technical Skills

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA
• Experience with Linux and Web server administration
• Experience with database administration, specifically SQL Server (Oracle DB also preferred)

Required Background, Soft Skills and Mindset

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure administration, networking, or related fields
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
