PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Financial Planning, Forecasting & Group Reporting
  • Develop the Group Budget Model and overall financial planning framework, ensuring alignment with strategic direction and operational realities.
  • Review and challenge hospital bottom-up budgets to ensure robustness, objectivity, and reasonable growth assumptions
  • Maintain up-to-date forecasts, providing early warnings on gaps and risks.
  • Own the Group management reporting framework (MIS), including standardization, data accuracy, timeliness, and consolidation.
  • Responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly reports for HMC Management and the Group Board of Directors.

2. Business Analysis, Insights & Decision Support

  • Monitor and analyze hospital performance, identifying key drivers (volume, price, mix, cost)
  • Proactively initiate and deliver analyses to support hospitals in evaluating performance
  • Provide meaningful insights and actionable recommendations to Group Management
  • Identify existing and potential risks early and propose mitigation actions
  • Deliver clear, structured, and decision-oriented analysis

3. Performance Governance & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Monitor and assess hospital Finance teams’ performance (timeliness, forecast accuracy, reporting quality).
  • Guide and ensure hospitals deliver in line with Group requirements (including ad-hoc requests)
  • Work closely with hospital Finance teams and Clermont Finance, providing data and analysis as required
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive performance and implement initiatives.
  • Monitor performance of key business segments (e.g. retail pharmacy)
  • Support cross-functional teams and directly participate as a project member in Group initiatives assigned by the GBPD and GCFO
