Established in 2002, Hoan My Da Nang has been consistently delivering optimal care services that best meet the healthcare needs of the community.
More than 20 years ago, when open-heart surgery and cardiovascular interventions were still a pipedream for many medical facilities, Hoan My Da Nang became the first hospital in the central region to implement cardiovascular interventions and ranked second in open-heart surgery. Since then, we have continued to apply many modern, less invasive methods in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases for local patients. More than 5,000 children with congenital heart disease have received treatment at Hoan My Da Nang.
Hoan My Da Nang is also the first hospital in Da Nang to obtain an ISO 15189 laboratory certificate. With modern equipment and facilities, we are committed to providing high-tech diagnostic imaging and testing services, enhancing the diagnosis and treatment of diseases:
- MRI 1.5 Tesla: helps diagnose or monitor conditions such as: Tumors in the chest, abdomen or pelvis, heart problems, liver disease, such as cirrhosis, and abnormalities of the bile ducts and glands such as pancreatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, vascular malformations and vasculitis.
- 64-slice MSCT: Normal and whole body (cranial, sinus, spine, thoracic, abdominal, pelvic…) and vascular disease screening (coronary artery, cerebral artery, carotid artery, aorta, renal artery…)
- Background digital angiography – DSA: Diagnosis and intervention of cardiovascular disease and blood-vessel-related diseases, helping to identify abnormal symptoms of blood vessels, including thromboembolism, narrowing and narrowing of blood vessels, atherosclerotic plaque, and aneurysms.
- Diagnostic and interventional endoscopy: retrograde cholangiopancreatoscopy, gastroscopy, etc.

Dr. Truong Nguyen Thoai Nhan
MSc., Doctor, Board of Directors Dr. Truong Nguyen Thoai Nhan graduated from the Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy as a medical doctor in 2004. He later obtained his Specialist Level I in Paediatric Orientation degree and his Specialist Level II in Paediatric Medicine degree from his alma mater in 2005 and 2021, respectively. Dr. Nhan also holds a Master's degree in Internal Medicine from his alma mater. With nearly 20 years of experience in examining and treating in-patient paediatric cases, Dr. Nhan is currently a director at Hoan My Da Nang Hospital. He previously held roles such as Head of Paediatric Department and Deputy CEO cum Director of Operations and Administration in the hospital as well.
Dr. Tran Minh Nghia
