HIS&EMR OPERATIONS LEAD
JOB SUMMARY:
As the HIS & EMR Operations Lead at Hoan My Medical Corporation (HMC), you will be pivotal in driving the operational excellence of the Hospital Information System (HIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platforms across our healthcare network. This role demands expertise in system management, project coordination, issue analysis, and data analysis to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of our healthcare IT systems.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining seamless operations, coordinating change requests from 18 sites, analyzing system issues, leading workflow standardization, and delivering actionable data through robust extraction and reporting processes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
HIS Operation:
• Provide operational support, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Manage HIS-related projects, such as system upgrades, new implementations, and third-party integrations.
• Ensure alignment of HIS system operations with organizational goals through close collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate Change Requests: Manage and analyze change requests from 18 Hoan My sites, ensuring proper documentation, impact analysis, and prioritization for implementation.
• Issue Analysis and Root Cause Investigation: Analyze HIS-related issues, determine root causes, assess potential impacts, and propose effective resolutions.
Workflow Standardization
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for HIS workflows.
• Monitor and enforce the adoption of consistent processes across hospitals.
• Identify and implement strategies for improving operational efficiencies.
Data Extraction and Reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and reporting needs.
• Extract and analyze data from HIS and related systems to create actionable insights.
• Develop structured, detailed reports that address business priorities and support decision-making.
• Ensure data extraction processes are efficient, repeatable, and accurate.
• Provide training and support to end-users for understanding and utilizing data reports effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Required Technical Skills:
• Experience in HIS and EMR system operations.
• Knowledge of database management and integration methodologies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and performance optimization of healthcare IT systems.
• Strong skills in data analysis and report generation.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations concerning IT systems.
Preferred Technical Skills:
• Hands-on experience with HIS 2.0 and EMR system rollouts.
• Expertise in using data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Understanding of Agile and other project management frameworks.
Required Background, Soft Skills, and Mindset:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Proven project management skills, including timeline and deliverable management.
