Dr Pham Thanh Kien graduated from the Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2005 as a medical doctor. He obtained a Specialist Level I in Surgery degree from his alma mater in 2015, and later a Specialist Level II in Health Management Organisation degree from the Hanoi University of Public Health in 2019. Dr. Kien has more than 18 years of experience in the field of surgery and is highly proficient in performing gastrointestinal surgery, longo haemorrhoidectomy, laparoscopic surgery, and urological laparoscopic surgery (for cases of urinary system stones, prostate tumours etc.). Heading the Surgery and Obstetrics Department at Hoan My Binh Duong Private Hospital, Dr. Kien is also in charge of training and upskilling for the healthcare professionals in the team. He has developed procedures and ensured adherences to treatment guidelines to ensure the highest safety standards. In particular, he is credited for developing and building the reputation for the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department as a top choice for parents-to-be to welcome their little bundle of joy.
