Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong graduated with a Bachelor of Biology from Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City in 2005. She later obtained a Master of Biochemistry from her alma mater in 2013. Dr. Phuong has more than 10 years of laboratory experience in numerous medical centres and hospitals. Since 2019, she has been serving as the Head of Laboratory Department at Hoan My Van Phuc 2 Hospital.
