Dr. Nguyen Thi Mai Lan graduated from the Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy as a medical doctor in 1995. She later obtained her Specialist Level 1 in General Surgery from the Vietnam Military Medical University in 2004. Dr. Lan also obtained her Specialist Level I and 2 degrees in General Internal Medicine from the Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2011 and 2015 respectively. Since 2009, Dr. Lan has been heading the Department of Nephrology-Urology at Hoan My Cuu Long General Hospital. Prior to that, she served as the Head of Department of Nephrology-Dialysis at 121 Can Tho Hospital from 1995 to 2009.
