Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing and developing training programs to enhance human resources and scientific research, as well as driving improvements in hospitals and clinics to elevate nursing competencies. Additionally, oversees research activities, ensures compliance with quality standards, and supports the development of healthcare personnel.
Responsible for developing plans and projects for nursing activities to promote continuous improvement, ensure staff competency, and provide regular reports.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Training and Research Management
- Promote scientific research activities, quality improvement, and organize workshops on related topics.
- Guide and periodically review the implementation of training and research quality standards set by the Ministry of Health.
- Support and guide nurses in managing, developing, and implementing continuous improvement projects in the hospital.
- Participate in developing training programs, assessing learning needs, monitoring the delivery and implementation of learning and development programs for nurses.
- Plan, organize, and facilitate staff participation in training within the system.
- Establish a high-quality e-learning system accessible to nurses at all levels across Hoan My for proactive self-development.
- Develop definitions, tools, and metrics to measure the effectiveness of learning and nursing competency levels.
Nursing Development
- Develop processes, regulations, and standards for assessing the competencies of nurses/midwives/medical technicians.
- Evaluate the competencies of nurses/midwives/medical technicians within the system.
- Develop and implement a nursing human resource plan aligned with international standards to maintain the appropriate quantity and quality of the nursing workforce.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources Department to attract, develop, and retain nurses.
- Participate in other projects to enhance the quality of Hoan My’s services.
Planning
- Develop the annual nursing project plan: Identify, prioritize, and plan projects related to nursing practices, quality improvement, or service development; Establish project timelines, budgets, and manage resources efficiently; Lead and collaborate with the team to complete projects on time and within budget

Job Required Skills And Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare sector, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in paramedical training and developing or implementing training programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; a Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field is required.
- Nursing Management Certificate.
- Medical Pedagogy Certificate.
- Management of achievements in the healthcare field.
- Management of evidence-based practice.
- Management of clinical training records (CME or any specific specialty).
- Knowledge of quality improvement and assurance in paramedical services, JCI, ACHIS, and Ministry of Health quality standards.
- Understanding of healthcare systems and the medical environment.
- Awareness of social, political, and economic factors impacting healthcare programs and services.
- Ability to apply business principles, including systems thinking, to the healthcare environment
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with executives, colleagues, staff, suppliers, and clients.
- Proficiency in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
