
Job Description
1. Professional Duties
Participate in the development, implementation, and supervision of infection control procedures in accordance with regulations of the Ministry of Health and the hospital.
Consolidate the department’s work plans; organize and lead regular and ad-hoc meetings.
Assign and allocate staff appropriately to ensure effective infection control operations.
2. Supervision and Reporting
Monitor compliance with and practice of standard precautions (surface disinfection, instrument processing, linen handling, waste disposal, environmental hygiene, etc.).
Observe and monitor hand hygiene practices in assigned departments/units.
Collaborate with internal and external units on infection control activities.
Conduct routine microbiological cultures (air, surfaces, RO water, etc.).
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual infection control reports and enter data into the corporate system.
3. Training and Improvement
Participate in organizing and conducting training sessions on hand hygiene, environmental cleaning, linen handling, etc.
Job Required Skills And Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; candidates with experience in an equivalent position in Infection Control are preferred.
Required Certification:
Infection Control Certificate (minimum duration: 3 months).
Foreign Language:
English proficiency is preferred.
