JOB SUMMARY
Perform laboratory tests and ensure the accuracy and consistency of diagnostic results.
Follow technical standards and hospital procedures.
Provide support in professional development, consultation, and patient care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Duties
Strictly comply with all hospital regulations, with particular emphasis on those related to the laboratory department, infection control, waste management, and occupational safety.
Perform assigned laboratory tests in accordance with the hospital’s technical standards and protocols.
Review and validate test results produced by assigned technicians; sign off on result reports as required by the department head.
Continuously update professional knowledge and maintain competency in all assigned laboratory techniques.
Participate in clinical consultations and mortality audits when requested.
Prepare and submit reports as required by the hospital.
Respond promptly and professionally to feedback from departments and patients concerning laboratory or pathology results.
Provide direct instruction, supervision, and evaluation of laboratory testing activities performed by medical doctors, technician trainees, and interns as assigned.
Contribute to scientific research and dissemination of relevant scientific knowledge in the field of laboratory medicine.
Examine patients following departmental procedures and perform diagnostic biopsy procedures; review and approve test results before release to patients and clients.
Review cytology and histopathology documents; sign off on final diagnostic results. Report complex or ambiguous cases to the department head for further discussion.
Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the department head or hospital director.

Job Required Skills And Qualifications
Education & Qualifications
Graduated from a university in Vietnam/abroad with a Bachelor's degree
Master’s degree or Specialization degree
Internship in Vietnam (minimum 12 months) or abroad (minimum 6 months)
Continuous training certificate lasting more than 3 months
Membership in Medical Associations
Engaged in scientific research projects
Skills
Professional skills: Completed the skill assessment program of the hospital/company on a regular basis. Required achievement level: >=80%
Supportive techniques (Imaging diagnosis, Endoscopy, Radiography): At least 1 certification
