JOB SUMMARY
Provide thorough medical care for inpatients and outpatients, with attention to accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and proper documentation.
Participate in consultations, surgeries, and interdepartmental coordination to ensure high-quality care.
Strictly follow hospital protocols and contribute to continuous improvement in clinical practice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Duties
Strictly comply with all hospital regulations, especially in the areas of diagnosis, medical record keeping, prescriptions, emergency consultation, admissions, interdepartmental transfers, discharge processes, medication, and infection control.
Conduct daily inpatient rounds:
Each morning, examine patients and issue appropriate prescriptions for medication, care, and diet.
Reassess patients in the afternoon and provide necessary updates. Closely monitor and intervene promptly for critically ill patients.
Perform daily checks on prescriptions and care plans; suspend orders that are no longer appropriate.
Check hygiene and guide patients on personal care and health maintenance.
Examine newly admitted or transferred patients promptly and issue initial medical orders.
Report to the department head during patient reviews and seek professional guidance.
If assigned to perform surgeries, ensure patient preparation and inclusion in the surgical schedule. Carry out medical procedures as required by the specialty.
Participate in departmental or cross-departmental consultations for critically ill or non-responsive patients.
Participate in outpatient and inpatient shifts as scheduled by the department.
Attend case reviews and mortality audits. Summarize and prepare discharge or transfer medical records per hospital protocols.
Clearly explain procedures to patients before technical interventions.
Provide health education to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Ensure adequate coverage during assigned on-call duties.
Attend departmental and hospital meetings.
Training & Research
Participate in scientific research and contribute to medical publications.
Attend scientific conferences and continuous education programs as assigned by the Department Head or Hospital Director.
Propose and implement improvements to enhance clinical effectiveness.

Interact respectfully and professionally with patients, visitors, and staff.
Adhere to internal hospital policies and Ministry of Health standards.
Promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the department and across teams.
Stay updated on medical knowledge relevant to internal medicine.
Job Required Skills And Qualifications
Education & Qualifications
Medical degree from a recognized university (Vietnam or abroad)
Master's degree, Specialist Level I, or Residency program completed (12+ months in Vietnam or 6+ months abroad)
Certification in Continuous Medical Education (minimum 3 months)
Membership in professional medical associations
Participation in scientific research projects
Professional Skills
Successfully completed periodic skill assessments by the hospital/group with a minimum score of ≥80%
Competency in supportive techniques: Radiology, Endoscopy, Imaging
Work Skills
English proficiency: Level B
