
Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Receive, assess, and provide immediate care to emergency patients transferred to the hospital.
Implement appropriate triage and emergency measures until the patient is stabilized.
Coordinate patient transfers to ICU or specialty departments as required.
Adhere strictly to hospital regulations and participate in training and quality improvement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Duties
Receive and treat all emergency patients transferred to the hospital.
Assess, classify the patient’s condition, and implement emergency measures based on triage priority.
Stabilize patients and, within 12–48 hours, transfer them to the ICU or a suitable specialty department when appropriate.
Comply strictly with hospital procedures and medical regulations.
Organize and participate in off-site emergency responses, mass casualty incidents, and epidemic responses.
Provide emergency care in the community and coordinate patient transfers to the hospital for continued treatment.
Perform assigned shifts, ensuring adequate coverage in terms of personnel and time.
Participate in departmental and hospital handover and briefing sessions.
Training & Research
Train and participate in training of medical staff; provide technical guidance on emergency care to lower-level healthcare facilities.
Organize and attend training, scientific research, and workshops related to pre-hospital emergency care.
Engage in continuous education, attend conferences, and stay updated on emergency medicine advancements.
Contribute to scientific research projects as assigned.
Communication & Patient Education
Clearly and thoroughly explain procedures to patients and their families.
Provide health education to patients under treatment in the emergency department and related clinics.
Address and respond to feedback from departments and patients concerning emergency services.
Professional Conduct & Compliance
Maintain professional, polite, and respectful interactions with patients, guests, and staff.
Adhere to internal hospital regulations and Ministry of Health professional standards.
Promote teamwork and knowledge sharing within and across departments.
Continuously seek improvements and propose initiatives to enhance service quality.
Job Required Skills And Qualifications
Education & Qualifications
Medical degree from a recognized university (Vietnam or abroad)
Master’s degree, Level I Specialist, or completed Residency program (12+ months in Vietnam or 6+ months abroad)
Certification in Continuous Medical Education (minimum 3 months)
Active membership in professional medical associations
Experience in scientific research or published studies
Professional Skills
Successfully completed hospital or corporate competency assessments with a minimum score of ≥ 80%
Competency in supportive techniques: Diagnostic Imaging, Endoscopy, and Radiology
Work Skills
English proficiency: Level B
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Effective teamwork and collaboration
Presentation and planning abilities
