Job Description
Job Summary: The Quality Executive at Thuan My TDM Hospital will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and monitoring the hospital's quality management system. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that clinical and operational processes adhere to national standards, corporate guidelines, and best practices, thereby enhancing patient safety, improving clinical outcomes, and optimizing service delivery. The Quality Executive will collaborate across all departments to foster a culture of continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the hospital's Quality Management System in alignment with Hoan My Medical Corporation standards and national healthcare regulations.
- Develop and update quality policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Support departments in integrating quality standards into their daily operations.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to quality indicators, patient safety events, and clinical outcomes.
- Generate regular reports on quality performance for hospital leadership and relevant committees.
- Identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
- Audits and Compliance:
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare for external audits and inspections (e.g., Ministry of Health, Hoan My Medical Corporation).
- Assist in developing and monitoring corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).
- Risk Management:
- Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks related to patient safety and quality of care.
- Assist in incident reporting, investigation, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Promote a proactive approach to risk management across the hospital.
- Training and Education:
- Develop and deliver training programs on quality improvement methodologies, patient safety, and regulatory compliance for all staff.
- Raise awareness and promote a culture of quality and safety throughout the hospital.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Facilitate and support quality improvement projects and initiatives across clinical and support departments.
- Promote the use of quality improvement tools and methodologies (e.g., PDCA, Lean, Six Sigma principles).
- Work collaboratively with department heads to implement best practices and enhance patient experience.
- Documentation and Communication:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality activities, audits, and improvement projects.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, fostering open dialogue regarding quality and safety.
- Represent the hospital in quality-related forums as required.
Job Required Skills And Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Medicine, Public Health, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a quality management, patient safety, or healthcare operations role, preferably within a hospital setting.
- Familiarity with Vietnamese healthcare regulations and quality standards is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese and English (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies (e.g., PDCA, Lean, Six Sigma).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Attention to detail, highly organized, and results-oriented.
- Proactive, with a strong commitment to patient safety and continuous improvement.
