Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Procurement Manager leads all hospital procurement activities, ensuring timely, effective, and transparent supply of drugs, consumables, biomedical equipment, and operational services. This role develops smart procurement strategies, negotiates with vendors to optimise cost and quality, and collaborates closely with departments to forecast and fulfil needs. The manager also drives team development, promotes Hoan My’s “CARE” culture, and positions procurement as a trusted partner of the hospital.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Procurement Operations – Lead all procurement activities for pharmaceuticals, consumables, biomedical equipment, and operational services, ensuring supply is accurate, timely, and efficient.
  • Strategy, Contracts & Compliance – Develop smart procurement strategies, negotiate and manage contracts transparently, minimise risks, and ensure compliance with Hoan My Group’s regulations and Value for Money principles.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement – Work closely with all departments to forecast demand, consolidate orders, resolve bottlenecks, and drive cost optimisation and service quality improvement.
  • Leadership & Culture – Lead and develop the procurement team, build trust as a partner for the hospital, and promote Hoan My’s “CARE” culture in all interactions.

Job Required Skills And Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Pharmacy, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in procurement/supply chain. Preference for those with experience in healthcare/hospitals or in large, multi-sector organisations.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and implementing strategic procurement projects.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Negotiation & Analytical Skills - Skilled and confident in negotiation. Quick in analysing data. Make data-driven decisions to optimise costs while maintaining quality.
  • Leadership & Collaboration Spirit - Capable of leading a team, connecting with departments, and building trust with doctors and suppliers. Maintain a consistent win–win mindset when working with partners.
  • Integrity & Proactiveness - Say no to conflicts of interest, always act with transparency. Proactive, responsive, and willing to “roll up sleeves” to resolve issues before they escalate.
