JOB SUMMARY:

• Lead and oversee the pharmaceutical operations across the Hoan My system, ensuring both quality and commercial excellence.
• Develop and execute a strategic approach to medicines, vitamins, and supplements assortment, optimizing profitability and patient outcomes.
• Drive commercial results through procurement, pricing, and distribution strategies while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Enhance the quality of clinical pharmacy services to support effective medical treatment and improve patient care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic Leadership and Commercial Performance
• Develop and implement a comprehensive pharmaceutical strategy that aligns with the organization’s business goals and revenue targets.
• Optimize the procurement, pricing, and sales strategies for medicines, vitamins, and supplements to maximize profitability.
• Evaluate market trends and patient needs to expand and refine the pharmaceutical product portfolio in alignment with medical and procurement teams.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor financial performance, sales growth, and operational efficiency.
2. Pharmacy Operations & Quality Assurance
• Ensure system-wide compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for pharmacy operations, ensuring consistency across all facilities.
• Monitor pharmacy reports and conduct performance reviews to enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead the Pharmacy Division meetings to align objectives and address key challenges.
3. Commercial and Procurement Strategy
• Work closely with the Procurement Department to select, negotiate, and manage pharmaceutical suppliers for cost-effective procurement.
• Optimize the bidding process for drugs and medical supplies to ensure financial efficiency and quality.
• Oversee inventory management, minimizing waste and ensuring product availability in alignment with demand forecasts.
• Develop and execute pricing strategies for retail and hospital-based pharmacies to improve revenue generation.
4. Clinical Pharmacy & Patient-Centric Initiatives
• Guide the implementation of clinical pharmacy programs that enhance patient safety and therapeutic effectiveness.
• Support hospital pharmacy departments in monitoring drug usage and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Strengthen collaboration between pharmacists and medical teams to improve prescription practices and patient care.
5. Training & Development
• Lead the professional development of pharmacy staff, fostering expertise in both clinical and commercial aspects.
• Implement training programs to enhance pharmacists’ skills in procurement, pricing, and sales optimization.
• Evaluate and mentor pharmacy department leaders across the network to ensure best practices in pharmaceutical management.
6. Research, Innovation, and Market Expansion
• Drive research initiatives focused on pharmaceutical management, clinical pharmacy, and commercial strategies.
• Identify opportunities for new revenue streams through innovative pharmaceutical products and services.
• Oversee the publication of internal pharmaceutical newsletters and participate in industry workshops and conferences.
7. Support & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, Social Health Insurance, and industry regulations.
• Contribute to system-wide initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service quality in alignment with corporate objectives.
• Act as a strategic advisor to hospital and clinic pharmacy departments on commercial and professional matters

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience:
• Pharmacist / Pharmacist University
• Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmacy management in a hospital and retail setting.
Knowledge & Skills:
• Pharmacy warehouse management system
• Regulations on management of pharmaceutical warehouses
• Clinical pharmacy
• Research in pharmaceutical science
• Regulations on bidding and list of bids related to Pharmaceuticals
• Regulations on Vietnam health insurance related to Pharmaceuticals
