JOB SUMMARY:

Hospitality Manager is responsible for the effective operational management under Hospitality Division of the hospitals, to ensure Operational Heads of Hospitality Department achieve and exceed their revenue, Quality, Staff satisfaction and Guest satisfaction targets besides controlling budgeted expenses.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work in conjunction with the Director of Hospitality to actively manage key property issues (including capital projects; customer service; refurbishment & monitoring / upgrading services of the outsourced vendors).
  • Assist the development of meaningful, achievable hospital budgets related to Hospitality Division and other short and long-term company strategic goals.
  • Provide effective leadership to the hospital management team and team members to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
  • Respond to audits that are completed by the company or external ones, to ensure continual improvement is achieved.
  • Strives to improve service performance.
  • Plan, direct and coordinate the service delivery of all operational departments under Hospitality Division, to meet and exceed guest expectations.
  • Comply and exceed hospital and company Service Standards.
  • Ensure that costs are controlled throughout the operational departments and results are analyzed regularly to highlight problem areas and take appropriate action to rectify where needed.
  • Coach and develop the Hospital base Heads of Department in-dotted reporting to him/her, through objective setting and personal development, to ensure career progression and effective succession planning within the hospital and company.
  • Monitor each hospitals to ensure the team seek and respond to customer feedback to achieve positive outcomes and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with the Hospitality HOD team.
  • Communicates a clear and consistent message regarding operational goals to produce desired results on a continuous basis.
  • Ensures brand and regional business initiatives are implemented and communicates follow-up actions to team as necessary.
  • Ensures core elements of the service strategy are in place to produce the desired results.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Preparing presentation and interpreting for Director of Hospitality speech in meeting, and other events as required.
  • Assisting the Director of Hospitality with daily administrative.
  • Performs any activity as directed and instructed by Director of Hospitality.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Experience & Knowledge

  • Bachelor degree in hospitality management
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working as hospitality manager
  • Hands-on experience in customer service or sales
  • Solid understanding of hospitality procedures and best practices
  • Knowledge of quality standards (e.g. ISO)

Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant software (e.g. ERP)
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding Vietnamese & English communication (verbal and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent management, time-management, and pro-active in problem-solving autonomously skills
