BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR (PARTNERSHIPS)
JOB SUMMARY:
The Business Development Director (Partnerships) at Hoan My Medical Corporation (HMC) is responsible for identifying, building, and managing strategic partnerships across various sectors, including insurance, financial services, healthcare providers, and lifestyle services. This role ensures sustainable business growth by driving partnership-driven revenue, expanding the partner ecosystem, and improving patient services. The Director will work closely with 21 hospitals and clinics under the HMC network and collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute partnership strategies that align with the organization’s business objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partnership Development & Management
- Identify, approach, and negotiate with potential partners (e.g., insurance, banks, e-wallets, technology companies, and healthcare providers)
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to maximize partnership value
- Lead the end-to-end process of partnership execution, including outreach, proposal development, negotiation, contracting, and implementation
- Develop and implement a partnership strategy that supports revenue growth, improves patient access, and enhances brand visibility
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Manage cross-functional partnership projects involving multiple stakeholders across the organization
- Act as the key point of contact for partners and internal teams to ensure smooth collaboration and effective execution
- Ensure alignment between partnership initiatives and HMC’s long-term business goals
Revenue & Performance Monitoring
- Drive new business revenues from partnerships through direct billing agreements, promotional campaigns, and co-branded initiatives
- Track, analyze, and report on partnership performance and ROI, identifying opportunities for optimization
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to inform partnership strategies
- Regularly conduct market research to identify emerging partners and new revenue opportunities
QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields. MBA is a plus.
- Certifications in Business Development, Partnership Management, or Healthcare Management are advantageous
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or strategic alliances, preferably in healthcare, insurance or financial services
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing large-scale partnerships
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and large projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Strong Negotiation & Communication Skills: Proven ability to negotiate high-value contracts and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term strategies and translate them into actionable plans
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and performance tracking
- Financial Acumen: Ability to understand financial models, P&L impact, and ROI calculations for partnerships
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the healthcare, insurance, and financial services industries
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
- Problem Solving & Decision Making: Ability to analyze complex issues, propose solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools, data analytics platforms, and digital partnership models
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Vietnamese and English is required
