Ho Chi Minh City – August 3, 2024 – Hoan My Medical Group, Vietnam’s largest private healthcare network, has launched the Hoan My Orthopedic and Spine Center in Ho Chi Minh City. The Center is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic technology utilising artificial intelligence and staffed by a team of leading specialists in orthopedic medicine.

The Center employs advanced methods in the diagnosis, screening, and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, including surgeries for orthopedic trauma, artificial hip and knee replacement, ligament reconstruction, meniscus repair, and minimally invasive spinal treatments.

In addition to the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, the Center emphasises early diagnosis and detection of damage using the MRI 3.0 Tesla SIGNA™ Hero system. This helps to identify and plan treatment for musculoskeletal issues from early stages, preventing potential risks and complications.

A Center of Excellence for Orthopedics and Spinal Medicine

Dr. Tang Ha Nam Anh, a leading expert in arthroscopic surgery, has been appointed Director of the Hoan My Orthopedic and Spine Center. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Nam Anh is a pioneer in bringing Vietnam’s innovations in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery to the world stage. He is also a founding member of the ASEAN Society for Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy and serves on the Standing Committee of the Asia Pacific Arthroplasty Society and the Asia Pacific Sports Medicine Society.

Dr. Nam Anh will lead a deeply experienced team of specialists at the Center. According to the Vietnamese Rheumatology Association, Vietnam has one of the highest rates of musculoskeletal diseases in the world.
