Ho Chi Minh City, May 8, 2024 – Hoan My Medical Group, Vietnam’s largest private healthcare network, today announced that it is increasing its advanced medical care capabilities and expanding its clinical network. This increased capacity will enable Hoan My to meet the growing demand for early detection and effective treatment of complex diseases in Vietnam, while also expanding bed capacity.
Hoan My is investing across its network of 14 hospitals and seven clinics in a range of state-of-the-art equipment to support diagnoses and enhance surgical capabilities in several specialties, including vascular, cardiac, and orthopedics. Further technology investments include endoscopy systems, ultrasound machines, and whole-body CT scanners to support early Cancer screening, early liver fibrosis screening, and the detection of musculoskeletal abnormalities.
In April, Hoan My Saigon Hospital became the first hospital in Vietnam to put into operation the advanced 3.0 Tesla SIGNA™ Hero MRI system combined with deep-learning artificial intelligence technology from GE HealthCare (USA). The system enables more precise, faster diagnosis of potentially life-threatening conditions with examination times reduced by 30%-50% compared to previous-generation machines.
To better serve Vietnam’s growing population, Hoan My Medical Group is also expanding its network, investing in additional clinical facilities to increase bed capacity. This will help to elevate the healthcare standards, make high-quality medical services more accessible for patients and alleviate the burden on Vietnam’s healthcare system.
Hoan My is further expanding its reach in Ho Chi Minh City with the launch of the Hoan My Tan Phu Medical Center, marking the network’s first foray into a large-scale polyclinic model.
